Opera 101 Broadcasts
The popular Opera 101 program returns in an on-air and online format!
Opera Colorado and KVOD 88.1 FM have partnered to bring Opera 101, the opera community education program, to more audiences with the creation of an on-air program.
Opera Colorado General Director Greg Carpenter, Director of Artistic Planning Brad Trexell and Education and Community Programs Director Leigh Holman, with KVOD's Steve Blatt acting as moderator, will discuss different aspects of the opera, including its history, the sets and costumes and the opera’s story. Artists also perform live musical selections. The program closes with questions from the studio audience.

Keep checking for the broadcasts dates in 2009 for the Opera Colorado productions of Bizet’s The Pearl Fishers and Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte as well as upcoming productions at Central City Opera.
