The Music Shop - Richard Wargo
Join us as we travel to 1900's Russia in Richard Wargo's brilliant comedy, The Music Shop, based on the short stories of Anton Chekhov. Ivan's wife has been asked to sing at the Prince's wedding and has sent him to purchase a special aria for the event. But poor Ivan has forgotten which aria he is supposed to buy! In order to help him recall the song, he asks that shop owner Dmitri and the shop girl Masha sing all of the songs they sell until he can recognize the right tune.
