Invest in the Future

Consider Making a Bequest to Opera Colorado

What is a bequest?
A bequest is a gift to Opera Colorado made through a written and executed will. Substantial gifts can be made in this way without affecting your family’s financial security. A bequest provides you with great flexibility. You can leave a specific asset, a sum of money, a percentage of your estate or the remainder of your estate after you have provided for other beneficiaries.

Advantages of making a bequest
 - You retain control of all assets during your lifetime.
 - You may be able to reduce your estate tax liability.
 - You may be eligible for an estate tax charitable deduction.
 - You will gain membership to the exclusive Crescendo Society.

Recognition
If you have already included Opera Colorado in your will or intend to include Opera Colorado in your future plans, please let us know. You can become a member of the Crescendo Society, our donor recognition program honoring those who have established a planned gift with Opera Colorado. Crescendo Society members receive exclusive benefits including:
 - Recognition in Ovation! Magazine
 - Invitation to the Annual Crescendo Society recognition luncheon
 - Invitations to special events throughout the year

If you have specific questions regarding your giving plans, or to notify Opera Colorado of your intent to give, please contact David Tureaud at 303.778.7086 or dtureaud@operacolorado.org.

Thank you for considering this important opportunity.
