Come experience the magic of working behind the scenes. There are numerous ways that talented volunteers help bring Opera Colorado’s productions to life each season. We invite you to peek behind the curtain to appreciate the work of these committed opera lovers and see how you too might participate in creating professional, engaging and inspiring theatrical productions. As we prepare for another exciting season in the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, we have opportunities for volunteers in several areas:

Education: Support our efforts to bring live opera to children and adult audiences across the state through school performances and outreach activities.

Office Support: Work in the Opera Colorado office assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing mailings, clerical tasks and other areas.

Special Events: Make our fundraising events come to life by helping to plan and facilitate the event itself.

Artist Hosting: Serve as a volunteer host for our visiting artists. Each artist is assigned an individual host who is a resource for the artist during his or her stay in Denver.

Some of these roles require specific time commitments while others are more flexible, allowing you to work as much or as little as your schedule permits. We invite you to play an important role in ensuring that grand opera continues to thrive in Denver.
